Overview
Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS Sports Carnival (UTPSC) is the biggest sports event held in the campus. For this year, the UTP Co-Curriculum Unit gives the honor to the Sekretariat Rakan Muda (SRM) in collaboration with Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar (MPP) organization to conduct the event and there will be a total of 16 great games contested in this event. The games are futsal, rugby, volleyball, sepak takraw, basketball, chess, hockey, mountain bike, tug of war, road relay, tennis, table tennis, bowling, netball, squash and badminton.
The competitions are inter-programmes basis. From the total of 8 programmes offered in UTP, 2 of them are merged with another related department. The 2 combination of programmes are the Petroleum Engineering (PE) and Petroleum Geoscience (PGs), and Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) and Business Information System (BIS). The other 4 programmes are Mechanical Engineering (ME), Chemical Engineering (CE), Civil Engineering (CV) and Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EE). Besides that, all participations are free. There are great prizes waiting for the winners.
